Mary Carol Holbert, J.D., B.S.B.A. (Accounting)
From her years of appellate law, through a career in international tax planning, Mary Carol Holbert has continually put her speaking, storytelling, and general communication skills to work, whether that be through weaving a convincing case in legal briefs, appealing to Supreme Court Justices, or selling non-tax executives on the business and economic benefits of effective tax planning.
Eight years spent living in Geneva, Switzerland broadened her communication horizons, giving her a keen appreciation for the nuances and intricacies involved in getting the desired message across to audiences with disparate backgrounds and experiences.  While living in Europe, she teamed with company executives from around the globe, using her communication skills to inform, sell, motivate, and inspire major changes in corporate operations and structure.
Stateside, her love of storytelling lead her into amateur acting and a lengthy involvement in community theater.  Creative writing remains a favorite art which she continually endeavors to enhance and perfect.
Over the last three years, Toastmasters International has also become an invaluable venue for the continued study and practice of public speaking skills.
Mary Carol is a great believer in continued education, coaching, and mentoring.  In addition to her Law and Accounting degrees, she has completed executive leadership courses at the world-renowned Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC, as well as coursework at the College of Executive Coaching.  Additionally, she is a certified administrator for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
Through Speaker’s Earned Edge 'SEE', Mary Carol is delighted to have an opportunity to share what she has learned, helping you reach your own communication goals and objectives, taking you to your next level.

Roxie Steadman, DTM

Speaker, author, videographer and information marketer, Roxie Steadman's background is in visual merchandising and commercial design. She gained experience in the retail marketplace and the publishing industry creating images, advertising campaigns and selling to clients.
A decade ago, Roxie engaged fully in Toastmasters International, an educational non-profit organization for developing public speaking and leadership. Here, she received the Distinguished Toastmaster designation, the DTM award.
